Teeth!

Ok..I realize that the date is on top. She is leaning backwards, so to the camera she is upside down. Lilly's top two teeth finally came through this weekend. She was getting 3 teeth at once (the one next to her top left is still coming in) so we are very glad that they finally popped. She is a MUCH happier girl now.

She was all full of smiles tonight so I captured a good photo of the bottom teeth too! Her first tooth came in at 8 months and the second bottom one came right before Christmas. They are coming in like crazy now!!

I love this because it looks like she's going off to work! She has been accidentally standing on her own lately and she doesn't realize it most of the time! She is walking all over the place holding on to things, but is still leary to let go.

Auto Show

Lilly got to experience the Auto Show this weekend. She was very excited to see all of the new trucks. She got to stand in the bed of a new Dakota and was really enjoying herself!

Naps

Apparently all of this moving and walking between furniture is very tiring. Lilly and daddy were in the middle of playing and Lilly fell asleep!

And...all of those naps do wonders on your hair once it gets to be longer!

Playing with new toys

Lillian could not stand to keep the "megablocks" in the truck, if you put one on, she will immediately take it off and play with it. Just like Cousin Cathy she loves her trucks!

Her favorite new toy is her new found love of the cabinets. She learned how to open the doors last weekend so of course Daddy was installing baby locks on the important ones. She loves to empty out the pan cabinet onto the floor though since this is one of the only ones left that she can get into!

Lilly is beginning to "walk" behind her walking toys. She pushes them until she is basically bowing in half and then will walk back up to the toy!

My First Christmas

Lilly's facial expressions continue to make us laugh! I think this one says something like "This isn't funny guys...take the top off"

Lilly really enjoyed pulling things out of her stockings, but wasn't really too into the present opening unless someone was helping her A LOT. She would tear off a small piece and then be done.

Lilly loves all of her walking toys that everyone got her! They scared her a bit at first because she wasn't expecting them to move, but she is starting to get the hang of it...if nothing else she thinks they are great to stand up on now!

Moving About

Lillian got a Hot Wheels car this weekend from her friend Bryce and it is now her favorite toy. Daddy showed her on Saturday how it can move across the Kitchen if you roll it so now she loves to roll it across the kitchen! Daddy's little girl already!

On Monday Lilly started "cruising" between furniture. Before she would just stand up on the furniture and was terrified to move her hands. She can now take them off and move from the coffee table to the chair.

Lilly also found her other friend who has been making all that noise all this time on Monday. She crawled around the couch and found the bird's cage. Of course the bird stand is also perfect for standing up on! She was more interested in the stand than the bird itself.

Lillian Meets Santa

On Dec 2nd, Lillian got to meet Santa for the first time...twice in one day! We had a Christmas party for George's Army unit and then took her to the mall to see Santa as well. She LOVED Santa and smiled so big each time that we let him hold her!!!


Lilly loved the attempts at making Christmas card pictures as she didn't get in trouble for being by the tree! And..she got to touch some of the ornaments. She didn't care much for the tree in the first few weeks, but now that she can stand easily and move quicker the tree is her new best friend.
